System_Rx Shells evolved through a study of the foot in it's neutral cast, and it's corrected shape in the positive cast. The relationships are usually achieved by technicians trained in the art of biomechanics.

Mathematically, the foot is a measurable blend of three dimensional shapes, beginning with a neutral, negative cast, and ending with a corrected positive cast. The measurable differences between the two are the corrected deformity (intrinsic balancing and the medial and lateral expansions.) Simply, if the negative cast and the corrections are both measurable, then it's possible to predetermine the corrected shape of the positive cast and the resulting orthotic.

Further study of over 300,000 pairs of orthotics show that certain foot shapes occur more often than others. Of the multiple shapes in the system, 99 shapes occur 70% of the time. System_Rx Shells are these 99 shapes.

System_Rx Shells are a new standard for consistant quality orthotics. Rx Shells are ideal for patients with normal foot types.
